FTU joins by-election boycott
The latest move means that all the major pro-government groups won't be taking part. The federation's president, Cheng Yiu-tong, described the polls as an abuse of taxpayers money. The legislators who've stepped down plan to use the by-elections as a de-facto referendum on universal suffrage.
