If you're having problems with dropped calls on your new 3G Apple iPhone, you're not alone. From New York to Stockholm, 3G iPhone owners are complaining loudly about connection failures — sometimes repeatedly — during calls. The problem typically occurs when the device attempts to move from 3G to another network.

After successful launch of the iPhone 3G the next step from Apple seems to be iPhone Nano. At least as many rumors says the Apple is working on the new mini iPhone and it will have limited features compared to the standard model.

Samsung has announced a new mobile phone named innov8, which is scheduled to be available worldwide from August 2008. The phone is also known as Samsung i8510. The most important feature of the innov8 phone is its 8 Megapixel camera. The phones sporting up to 5 Megapixel cameras are common these days, however a phone with 8-MP camera is still quite rare.

The iPhone 3G has just released and we have reviewed it already. It is a great phone but definitely not the best out there. We take a look at some phones which, while priced similarly to the iPhone, have many features that are much better than the iPhone 3G. They can easily kick the iPhone 3G’s ass in a one to one face off.

With the release of the iPhone 2.0 software on Friday and the opening of the App Store -- where hundreds of third-party applications are now available -- Apple Inc.'s iPhone has taken a major leap toward becoming a premiere mobile platform.

10 Things the 3G iPhone is Still Missing

It's great that the new iPhone has faster data service and GPS. And you could get lost for days in the new iPhone App Store looking at all the cool new toys and productivity tools. But quite a few Achilles' heels--in the form of missing features--still remain in Apple's 3G iPhone. What's most surprising is that these features come standard in some of even the most basic models of rival phones. With these features added, the 3G iPhone could come pretty close to perfect. (This isn't the first time we've complained about what's missing from the iPhone, and many of the gripes on this list are repeat offenders.)
