Berlusconi 'Babes' Prepare For G8 Summit

Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is playing host to world leaders attending the G8 summit of industrialised nations. But his wife will not be at his side to look after his guests' consorts because she is divorcing him over his fondness for young ladies.
Veronica Lario - with whom Berlusconi had three children - said she could not be with a man who "consorted with minors" after he was seen attending a female friend's 18th birthday.
Mr Berlusconi does not seem to be too downhearted. He has asked Italy's equal opportunities minister to take care of the G8 spouses during their three-day trip.
Mara Carfagna, 33, is a former glamour model who has earned the title of the "world's hottest politician" from one men's magazine.
In case the one-time Miss Italy should become indisposed, another attractive member of the Cabinet will be on hand to help out.
Education minister Mariastella Gemini will join her Cabinet colleague in taking the G8 wives and husband on a tour of the region near L'Aquila, where the summit is taking place.
