The Dragon Descendants Museum in Suphan Buri showcases China’s 5,000-year-old history and the history of the Chinese community in Thailand.

The must-see museum is located in Suphan Buri province, 200 km northwest of Bangkok.

The dragon-shaped build-up at 135m long, 35m high and 18m wide, is the largest of its kind in the world.

It was built by Suphan Buri's first Chinese-Thai MP and later Thailand's 21st prime minister, Banharn Silpa-archa, whose descendents came from Chaoyang, China.

The museum opened its doors on December 24, 2008.

It is a home to visual and interactive multimedia tours of Chinese history, using mannequins, sculptures, paintings, artifacts, reproductions, light and sound in 21 exhibition rooms.
