PATTAYA : In a world clouded with doom and gloom, there is a bright ray shining at least for Thailand over the Sattahip-Jomtien-Pattaya Eastern Seaboard region. It is an event far removed from the outside turmoil. It is clear skies, sparkling waters and the smiling faces of some 100 young people from more than 40 countries world-wide who will come to Thailand's Eastern Seaboard - to go sailing.

Gulf Charters Sailing School 18.03.2009
Gulf Charters Sailing School has a diverse fleet of charter/training yachts, both keelboats and multi-hulls, and instructors with many years of combined experience. We take pride in our ability to teach students to sail in a responsible and seamanlike manner, and to impart our own love and appreciation of the sea. Our graduates are currently sailing yachts on their own all over the world and they carry the valuable lessons learned at Gulf Charters Sailing School with them whether day sailing or circumnavigating.

Now, 58 under-16-year olds and 34 of unspecified ages have gathered at the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in South Pattaya, for the Asean Optimist and the Asia-Pacific Byte CII Championships, to be held from tomorrow until Saturday Feb 7.
