A 21-year-old British national has been arrested attempting to leave the Kingdom of Thailand, after Immigration police had become aware that she was travelling on a forged or suspected fake passport.

With red shirt leaders bracing for what they fear will be a government crackdown against them, the protesters have been reinforcing their camps in the heart of the Thai capital. As well as sealing off a large part of the city's commercial district, they have built their own "red city", which is home to tens of thousands of protesters. Al Jazeera's Wayne Hay reports from Bangkok.
