Seattle tour operator launching coffee walk
"There'll be a little talk about Seattle history, a little architecture, a little gossip," said Vicki Schuman, the tour leader and owner of Seattle By Foot, a new company she hopes will eventually have six tours of Seattle.
For this summer, she's focusing just on coffee. The 1.6-mile walk will meander past the historic Starbucks in Pike Place Market and include visits to Seattle Coffee Works, Dilettante Mocha Café, Monorail Espresso and Trabant Coffee & Chai.
The coffee tours begin June 12 and cost $15. More information is at http://www.seattlebyfoot.com/.
