Plenty of Fat Tuesday specials are happening on Feb. 24 at Seattle nightclubs, including New Orleans Creole Restaurant, the Triple Door, Amore Restaurant and Star Bar.



Mardi Gras Party with Jeff & the Jet City Fliers: The local blues-based band plays a party at the New Orleans Creole Restaurant, where the doors open early at 6 p.m., 114 First Ave. S., Seattle; $10 (206-622-2563 or www.neworleanscreolerestaurant.com).

New Orleans Creole Restaurant is part of a joint-cover promotion tonight with other Pioneer Square clubs. With a joint-cover stamp from the first club they enter, patrons get a discounted entry at Fat Tuesday shows at New Orleans plus:
