The Wave Magazine Announces New Short Film Festival in San Jose - USA - California - San Jose - festival - movie - event


Silicon Valley entertainment and lifestyle publication, The Wave Magazine announced today it will produce an annual San Jose Short Film Festival to promote local and international film makers. The festival will feature short films, up to fifteen-minutes in length from all over the world. Films will be chosen by a selection committee to be screened at Camera 3 in Downtown San Jose on December 5th & 6th.



"This is a great way for us to reach out and entertain local movie fans and our cultural partners here in the South Bay, while offering independent filmmakers an additional outlet to showcase their work," said Bill Hargreaves, publisher of The Wave Magazine.

A panel of judges will award a first, second and third place prize, while viewers will vote for their favorite in the Audience Award poll. An international call for entries of short films in all genres has been announced. Entry forms, rules, and regulations are available at www.sjshortfest.com.
