Dusit International expects its revenue to grow at least 10% next year, after a 20% drop this year from the impact of the recession and political instability.

The whole tourism industry should grow next year as the world economy revives, said Chanin Donavanik, the hotel chan's CEO. But the local political situation could still threaten recovery. If the government can contain conflict and push forward the right policies to promote tourism, the industry will grow significantly next year, he said.

Dusit's overseas expansion plan is another key driver for revenue improvement in 2010. It will manage at least six properties abroad next year, including the Dusit Thani Sanya in China, Dusit Devarana New Delhi, Dusit D2 in New Delhi, Dusit Residence Abu Dhabi, and the Dusit Thani LakeView and Dusit Residence LakeView in Cairo.

The company has also secured management contracts to operate three properties scheduled to open in 2011 - the Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Dusit Devarana Jaipur and Dusit Devarana Rishikesh.
