Thailand Open Chess Championship in Pattaya - Thailand - Pattaya - Sports - chess - Ittipol Khunplume


Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplome was guest of honour to officially open the first Thailand Open Chess Championship held at the Aisawan Resort in Naklua on the 1st April.



The 6 day event will take place at the Asiawan resort and spa near Wong Amat beach with over 200 chess players from 38 countries, including Jirapak Pitirotjirathon, reigning Thai Chess champion, competing for the major championship trophy.
