Football: Thailand ready to face Singapore in Asian Cup qualifier, says Robson - Thailand - Sports - Bryan Robson - Soccer - Asian Cup

Bryan Robson, the former Manchester United and England legend who is currently coaching Thailand's national football team, said his boys are ready for the crucial match against Singapore on Saturday.

The two teams will meet for a Group E Asian Cup qualifier match at the National Stadium.

The Thai team arrived late on Wednesday and wasted no time getting down to work.

Robson, who took over the team last month, would like to have had more time with his charges. He said he is not worried about his players' lack of height.

"Everybody says that they have got more aerial power, but the players who have been playing for me lately have competed very well in the air, they are good strong defenders and that's what they will have to be against Singapore," said Robson.
