Thailand Coach Bryan Robson Unconcerned About Singapore's Aerial Ability
The Thais travel to Singapore on Saturday for a 2011 Asian Cup qualifier. With two points from their opening two games in the group, Thailand can’t afford a defeat at the National Stadium.
The former England captain dismissed concerns that with strikers such as Alexsander Duric, Singapore will dominate the contest in the air.
"Everybody says that they have got more aerial power, but the players who have been playing for me lately have competed very well in the air, they are good strong defenders and that's what they will have to be against Singapore," Robson said according to Channel News Asia.
"When I am a coach at any team, I always believe in my players' potential. I always want my players to have confidence in themselves," added Robson.
"We have the potential and if we have confidence, we will win.
