Bryan Robson was pleased with Thailand’s performance in their 3-1 win in Singapore on Saturday but not completely satisfied.

The ex-England captain, who took the Bangkok position in October, saw the Elephants move up to second in their 2011 Asian Cup qualification group at the halfway stage.

Sutee Suksomkit opened the scoring after 12 minutes from the penalty spot.

Fifteen minutes from time, Thersdak Chaiman doubled the visitiors’ advantage and the game was all over with eight minutes remaining as Suksomkit got his second.

Mustafic Fahrudin pulled a goal back for the hosts six minutes.

"What we worked on the training and they did that very well that gave them the platform to create chances which we did in first half." said Thailand's coach Bryan Robson according to the-afc.com.

"Apart from the penalty, we created two or three very good chances where we might have scored and so that was very pleasing." added the former Middlesborough, West Bromich Albion and Sheffield United manager.
