Brunei Barracudas To Play Thailand Tigers In Bangkok

With five games remaining in the regular season of the Asean Basketball League, Brunei Barracudas can ill-afford to lose any ground in the battle for the final playoff spot when they face Thailand Tigers at the Nimibutr National Stadium in Bangkok on Monday at 8pm.
Head coach Bong of Brunei Barracudas knew of the dire situation as the Thailand Tigers as well as the KL Dragons are also fighting for the final playoff spot against Barracudas.
During an interview at the training ground in Batu Bersurat Basketball Court, Bong from the Philippines said: "We will try to win as many games as we can in the remaining fixtures of the league in order to clinch a playoff spot. All the games are crucial now and I want to take one game at a time."
"In my opinion, all the remaining games we will face very strong challenges because except for the Philippines Patriots, the rest of the teams are still fighting to secure a place into the playoff."
"Look at the league, the gap between us and the teams in the upper or lower half is only separated by one or two wins. So I expect a tough match-up on Monday and I know that the Thailand Tigers will come out fighting for their life," he added.
Reggie Larry, who strained his ankle in the match against the Patriots recently, has almost recovered fully and will be featured against the Thailand Tigers.
