Golf: Philippines' Pucay, Thailand's Kiradech share Asian Tour International lead
Kiradech, a 21-year-old former world junior champion, struggled through a 37 on the front nine, but recovered with four birdies and another bogey on the back nine to card 70 for the day.
"I am hitting the driver well this week," he said. "I'm not feeling nervous at all."
The 39-year-old Pucay, who shot a hole-in-one Thursday, displaced Jason Knutzon of the United States and Brazil's Lucas Lee from the top of the leader board by repeating his opening day three-under-par 69.
Pucay, who began playing on the Asian Tour in 1995, has yet to win a tournament.
He called it a "great day" after registering four birdies against a lone bogey on Friday.
"I hit the ball really well except for two tee shots," Pucay said. "Other than that, I played really well."
