Posters depicting Barack Obama as Joker appear on Los Angeles streets

Posters of American President Barack Obama which shows him as Heath Ledger’s Joker from the latest Batman sequel has covered the streets and highways of Los Angeles and numerous American web sites are reporting about them.
An unknown street “artist” remade Obama’s face by drawing out his lips into a sinister smile, his face is painted white and beneath there is the word “socialism”.
Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson told WHNT News that such a depiction of Obama was politically mean spirited and dangerous.
- We have issued a public challenge to the person or group that put up the poster to come forth and publicly tell why they have used this offensive depiction to ridicule President Obama – he said.
The posters did not just cause a stir on the streets of Los Angeles – true chaos erupted when the pictures made it to the internet and the web sites that published them first crashed under the burden of views.
